RB-SPICE: Radiation Belt Storm Probes Ion Composition Experiment

I.  Overview

NASA has announced plans for a future mission that will study space weather and near-Earth space radiation. The mission, which will consist of two spacecraft, is scheduled for launch in 2012. Fundamental Technologies is associated with a team lead by Dr. Louis J. Lanzerotti, of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and an instrument called RB-SPICE, or Radiation Belt Storm Probes Ion Composition Experiment.

Fundamental Technologies RB-SPICE Co-Investigators:

Fundamental Technologies will be the site of the Science Operations Center for the RB-SPICE sensor.
